Some briefs just get us excited from the very first line. Burke & Laird, a luxury heritage wool clothing brand using sustainable New Zealand wool to create pieces that truly last, was absolutely one of them.

The vision was clear. The values were strong. The only thing missing? Visuals that told the story at first glance.

Burke & Laird needed a logo and brand identity that felt as considered, timeless, and investment-worthy as the clothing itself.

What We Did

Before Nina touched a single font or colour swatch, we went deep. We explored Burke & Laird's values, goals, audience, and what makes them genuinely different in the market,  because great graphic design doesn't start with aesthetics; it starts with understanding.

The goal was clear: a traditional, high-quality clothing brand that offers pieces that get better with age. Classic and heritage in feel, sustainable and traceable in values. The kind of brand that makes people feel good about investing in something that lasts.

We developed a brand identity that leans fully into the old money luxury aesthetic,  a classic, well-established colour palette, refined and elegant typography, and adaptable logo variations that work beautifully on everything from clothing tags to buttons to digital platforms.

The kind of logo design that doesn't need to shout. It just quietly commands respect.

Just like the garments Burke & Laird creates, this brand was built to stand the test of time. Every element considered, every detail deliberate, a visual identity as enduring as the values behind it.
